Our Story
A Venue with History and Heart
The Elmgrove Centre, a Christian Community Centre and venue, is comprised of a collection of buildings nestled among mature trees. The original structure was the Anglican Church of St. Nathanael with St. Katharine, which once boasted traditional pews, an organ, and a choir loft. In 1989, with the launch of SPACE, it underwent a stunning renovation, transforming into a spacious interior featuring pine flooring, a fully equipped kitchen, ample meeting rooms, and a balcony.
In 1992, the management was taken over by the Christian Enterprises Trust (CET), which was established to support local initiatives and promote unity among Christian churches and community organizations.
Today, the Elmgrove Centre stands as a vibrant and adaptable multi-purpose venue. It hosts a wide array of events, including wedding receptions, artistic performances, charity functions, community markets, supper clubs, and much more.
With its generous layout and historic charm, the Elmgrove Centre remains a beloved venue for the community, and we eagerly anticipate hosting even more inspiring events in the years ahead.
