Dating back to the 1800s, the Main Hall is the largest space at The Elmgrove Centre. Its soaring ceilings, beautiful stained glass windows, and impressive stone pillars create a breathtaking backdrop for weddings and large-scale events. The hall’s excellent natural acoustics make it especially popular for choirs, live music, concerts, theatre and dance performances.

The venue has a strong cultural heritage and has previously hosted theatre and dance rehearsals, including work associated with BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, as well as performances by leading theatre production companies.

The hall is complemented by the adjoining Frome Room, Green Room, and a fully equipped kitchen, making it ideal for event catering, performers and event organisers.

  • Step-free access throughout most of the space with a ramp available for the short entrance and stage step

  • An accessible toilet
